I'm a techie at heart, and have been working with operating systems(unix) and TCP/IP networks most of my professional life.
My first exposure to Statistical Process Control was via the guy who originally hired me at Sun Microsystems. He moved on to manage european and US call centers and I wrote the odd awk script to help him process some data.
I encountered these methods later during a Six Sigma course.
My first actual exposure to Kanban and WIP was during the first devopsdays in Ghent (2009), as presented by Mattias Skarin.
As it happens, I'm interested in new opportunities. I still love the technical stuff, and I work best when I'm learning something new.
